What You'll Do

Cohen & Co is looking for a Microsoft Engineer to join our Technology Services team! We are open to this position being in any of our following offices: Cleveland or Akron, OH.

 

As a Microsoft Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective utilization of Microsoft 365 & Microsoft Azure services within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge in Microsoft 365 & Azure.

Who You Are

  • Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft 365 & Microsoft Azure technologies including
    • Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, Teams, SharePoint Online
    • Azure Virtual Desktop, Cloud PC, Azure Files
  • Administration: Proactively manage, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 & Azure services across all relevant modules to ensure seamless user experiences and optimal performance.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure Microsoft 365 & Azure services are configured and maintained in accordance with security policies, industry standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Incident Management: Respond promptly to incidents related to Microsoft 365 & Azure services, investigate root causes, and provide effective resolutions to minimize disruptions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of Microsoft 365 & Azure updates, new features, and enhancements. Recommend and implement improvements to optimize the use of Microsoft 365 & Azure services.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps for reference and knowledge sharing.
  • User Training and Support: Provide training sessions and support to end-users to foster effective and efficient utilization of Microsoft 365 & Azure applications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate Microsoft 365 & Azure services into existing systems and applications.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor the health and performance of Microsoft 365 & Azure services and generate regular reports on system performance, usage, and trends.

Education and Qualifications  

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft 365 & Azure services
  • Demonstrated knowledge in Microsoft 365 & Azure
  • Strong administration skills across all other Microsoft 365 & Azure
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automating tasks and configurations
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 & Azure licensing models and subscription plans
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with teams and provide user support

Estimated Salary Range:  $60,000-$85,000
